With 857 metres of altitude, Osolnik offers a majestic view on forested hills on one side and the snowy peaks of Kamnik Alps on the other. It is positioned on the far eastern side of the Polhograd Dolomites. It is accessible through the paths leading from the direction of Medvode and Škofja Loka. On the top stands a white church of st. Mohor and Fortunat from the 16th Century. The original Romanesque design of the church was rebuilt years later. The interior features a wooden ceiling and an altar from 1701. There is also a church backyard where you and your dog can play »fetch«.
